Avanti are working with an established and long-standing design and development agency based close to Thame, looking for an additional software developer.
You would be joining a small team of 4 developers and you would be working with C#, .NET and JavaScript and Vue.js.
The team are in the office 3 days a week, working remotely the other two. To get to the office you’d need to drive ideally, but if not then staff carshare from all around. Salary is between £30-50k
The perfect candidate should have proven expertise as a full-stack developer in the Microsoft Visual Studio / Web Development Technical Stack. This includes utilizing the latest ASP.NET / MVC technologies and possessing a solid grasp of all development tiers. They should be proficient in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and Javascript, have experience in middle-tier business layer programming using object-oriented C#, and a sound understanding of MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database modelling.
All new developments use the Umbraco Content Management solution, so experience of this will be a significant benefit, as will any previous employment gained specifically within a Web Agency role.
The team work in both agile and waterfall methodologies depending on the client and the project’s requirements, using Daily Standups and Jira based Project Management.

The interview process is 2 stage. Firstly you’d speak over a video call for 30-60 minutes to go through the role and technologies to see if the position is a good fit. After that there would be a face-to-face interview on-site followed by a decision.
