Senior .NET Software Engineer
Location: South West England (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + bonus + excellent benefits

THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET
- Work across both desktop applications and modern service-based systems
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support the modernisation of legacy platforms
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- C# / .NET
- WPF
- SQL Server
- .NET Core
- Microservices architecture
- Vue.js (desirable)
- Azure (ongoing migration)
- Strong experience with C# and .NET
- Experience working with desktop applications (e.g. WPF)
- Good understanding of software design principles
- Comfortable working in engineering-led environments
- Interest in systems that interact with hardware
- Experience with modern frameworks or microservices
- Exposure to industrial or hardware-integrated systems
- Work on real-world, safety-critical systems
- Strong blend of legacy modernisation and new development
