Technical Account Manager – Building Services / Energy Solutions | Hybrid (Wokingham + Client Travel) | £50,000–£60,000
We are working with a specialist UK engineering and technology business serving multi-site operators across the hospitality and facilities sector. With over 7,000 installations and long-standing relationships with major clients, they have a strong market position and are now entering a significant growth phase.
This is a senior client-facing role. You will take ownership of a portfolio of high-value, multi-site accounts - managing relationships, coordinating technical delivery, and identifying opportunities to grow account value. The person stepping into this role needs to be technically credible as well as commercially sharp. You will be dealing with facilities managers, operations directors, engineering teams, and procurement stakeholders across large, complex organisations.
What the role involves
Managing and developing key accounts, acting as the primary contact for operational and commercial matters, coordinating installations, maintenance programmes, refurbishments and site openings, negotiating pricing and terms, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and building relationships with HVAC contractors and industry partners to strengthen referral routes.
What we are looking for
Experience in technical account management or key account management within a service-led or engineering environment. Likely background in HVAC, building services, M&E, facilities management, energy efficiency, fire and security, or a technical service contract environment. You must be comfortable in operational and technical conversations and capable of managing complex multi-site accounts with confidence. Direct experience in the sector is not required - full product training will be provided.
Package
£50,000–£60,000 depending on experience, hybrid working from Wokingham and home with travel to client sites and head offices, flexible hours, 25 days holiday, 4% pension, EV salary sacrifice scheme.
