You will find yourself working with a brand new team they are building where you will be working on the product line & 3rd party integrations. This work will include savings, currency exchange, and financial reporting. Due to the rapid growth of the company's presence in the UK, You will have plenty of opportunities to work with Greenfield projects and have lots of career progression opportunities too.
On a daily basis, you will find yourself working across the full software development life-cycle including being involved in architecture and design discussions. You will also be working with the latest technologies and joining a company that encourages new suggestions. The team runs on 2-week sprints following Agile.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to design, build, and maintain software solutions that integrate with third-party services.
- Develop robust, high-quality, and scalable software solutions using either Kotlin or Java.
- Leverage AWS cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and maintaining our services.
- Adopt DevOps principles to enhance the software development life cycle, including coding, testing, and deploying.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Debug and solve complex software issues and provide high-level support when necessary.
Some of the technologies used in the company: Java, Kotlin, Spring, Springboot, Microservices, Maven, Gitlab, AWS, CI/CD.

Essential Skills:
- Significant experience as a Senior Developer or Software Engineer in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Java or Kotlin
- Familiarity with AWS and understanding of cloud based systems
- Proficiency in DevOps principles and best practices
- Spring/Springboot Microservices
- Kafka or similar MQ systems experience
Desirable:
- Banking / Financial / Fintech experience would be highly beneficial
The salary on offer for this position is up to £90,000
