This is a process-led assurance role supporting engineering teams to deliver fully compliant software systems. - Ensure project plans and governance frameworks are up to date and appropriately executed
- Support and assure software development against defined processes and industry standards
- Produce quality and assurance documentation throughout the development lifecycle
- Drive actions to closure and ensure audit readiness across relevant milestones
- Support less experienced team members and help embed a culture of best practice
- Lead by example, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative engineering culture
- Proactively develop professional knowledge across software, systems, and compliance
- Experience in software assurance, quality engineering, or process governance roles
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and embedded systems
- Familiarity with industry standards and assurance processes in regulated environments (e.g. defence, aerospace, automotive, rail)
- Comfortable producing assurance documentation, quality reports, and audit materials
- A proactive mindset with strong organisational and coaching abilities
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Software, Systems, Electrical, etc.)
