Avanti Recruitment are currently working with a global financial trading company who are currently looking to hire a Mid-Level Java Developers due to growth within the company. The office is in South London with good transport links, however this role would only require you in a couple of times a month.
On a day to day basis you will find yourself working across the full software development life cycle including design/architecture. You will be involved in working on Greenfield projects as well as system enhancements, maintenance and integration. You will take ownership of individual elements of development and will be involved with code reviews.
The company are keen on helping develop their teams skillsets and are happy to help with accreditations/certifications. The company are keeping up with the latest technologies and are always looking to implement new tech as it progresses. They are also working with the latest AWS tech including Lambdas , Aurora, Cognito, EC2 etc.
You will be working closely with the product development team as well as the trading colleagues and other developers on a daily basis to ensure you are delivering excellent service to the companies clients.
Experience needed:
The salary on off for this role is up to £65,000 + Bonus + 27 days holiday (Plus bank holiday).

- 2:1 or above in Computer Science
- Strong Java experience
- Understanding of TDD / Creating Unit Tests
- Experience with HTML/CSS
- Understanding and usage of CI/CD such as Jenkins
- AWS (Aurora/Lambdas)
- Docker/Kubernetes
- React
