Avanti Recruitment is working with an Award-winning Software Consultancy in Oxfordshire who build bespoke software applications from the ground up to recruit a Project Manager to join their team.
You will work on the end-to-end delivery of software applications for clients and this will include delivering multiple concurrent software projects of varying complexity. As they develop bespoke applications for clients across multiple industry sectors they are often starting with a blank sheet of paper so they need someone with an open-mind and can question and adapt the way they work to suit the situation. They used a mixed approach of KANBAN with some SCRUM elements such as sprints.
You will be responsible for creating and managing project plans, resource and budget management (you will keep a handle on costing and charge rates to clients), managing client deliveries and reporting progress to internal and external stakeholders. Client meetings take place at their office and implementations are done remotely so you won’t be expected to travel in this role.
To be considered you will have proven experience delivering software projects and whilst you are not required to have a technical background you must understand how software applications fit together, understand software concepts and processes and the stages of the software development lifecycle. Ideally you will have worked in a Software House or Software Consultancy before not just implementing and off-the-shelf software products. You will need to have experience working with an Agile approach and experience with KANBAN would be good to have but is not essential.
This will be a diverse and challenging role where every project is different and you will be working with a bright and talented team who are passionate about the products they deliver. If you have the skills and experience please APPLY NOW for immediate consideration and interview in the next week.
COVID UPDATE – They have all been working from home since March and have no plans to return to the office in the near future. After the pandemic they expect staff to return to the office but there may be some flexibility to work from home 1-2 days by individual agreement.
