Avanti Recruitment is working with a successful software house in Maidenhead who is looking to build new software tools that will be used by Infrastructure, Site Reliability and DevOps professionals. You will be working with a state-of-the-art, truly Serverless software product built from the ground-up using the latest Cloud technologies and SRE approaches.
As a Site Reliability Engineer your role will highly influential in how this platform is built and the SRE principles and best practices used to improve their internal capability. You will monitor and improve systems performance, help run the production environment to improve reliability and automate processes to speed up time to market. You will also evangelise about the SRE approach and how this platform would be beneficial to others in this market as an active member of the SRE and DevOps communities.
We are looking for someone who loves technology and is passionate about a DevOps approach and the role of an SRE. Ideally, you’d be the sort of person who creates a blog and/or attends SRE/DevOps conferences and gets involved in the wider tech community.
You will be working with Azure DevOps build and release pipelines, Lambda functions to identify bottlenecks and delivering webinars and technical content to promote how these tools can help other SREs
It is very likely you will have a degree in Computer Science or other similar subjects.
The role is based in Maidenhead and but they can also offer opportunities for remote working.
