Responsibilities:
- Following best practices TDD / Clean code
- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency Java code
- Application for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance
- Work across the full SDLC
- Develop well designed, tested and efficient code
- Support continuous improvement by investigating new technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Have a TDD approach and understand the benefits of using TDD
- Have a background in Enterprise Design patterns and Distributed Systems
- Expert in Java Development, application and architecture
- Strong Spring/Springboot
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL – MongoDB / Cassandra / CouchDB
- Have experience in infrastructure OpenStack, Docker or Vagrant
- Understanding / Experience with HTTP, REST, JSON, XML, SOAP and OAuth
- Maven, Gradle, Grunt as build tools for application deployment
