Company Vision: Pioneering Scientific Tech startup who are a spin-off from Oxford University are looking for a hands-on IT Manager who can plan and build all the processes, roadmap and technical infrastructure for a rapidly growing scale-up business. Currently 30 employees, with ambitious growth plans to double team size in two years.

Strategic Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive IT infrastructure roadmap
- Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks and resilient system architectures
- Manage identity and access management across evolving technological ecosystem
- Develop scalable IT policies and procedures
- Plan and execute resource allocation for future IT team expansion
- Manage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- At least 7+ years enterprise IT environment management
- Advanced networking and cybersecurity expertise
- Deep Windows and Microsoft 365 Active Directory proficiency
- Proven track record scaling IT infrastructure in high-growth startup environments
- Professional certifications in Windows client infrastructure and RedHat Linux
- Linux administration (particularly Debian-based distributions)
- Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Engineering SaaS systems integration
- Information security compliance frameworks (ISO27001 preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills across technical and executive audiences
- Strategic vision coupled with hands-on technical implementation capabilities
- Adaptable communication approach for diverse stakeholder engagement
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving orientation
- Hybrid model: 2 days weekly in central Oxford office

- Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + benefits + stock options
