Avanti Recruitment have partnered with a growing engineering company in the Oxford area that designs and manufactures low-power instrumentation products.

We're looking for a technical lead to join the team and get involved with both sides of the business, engineering and customer-facing. You'll be responsible for a tight-knit team of multi-disciplinary engineers, and be integral to the development and release of the companys' new technology, as well as conceptualization and proto-typing bespoke customer systems.

Essential Skills:

Previous experience in embedded software/firmware or electronics design roles
Ability and willing to guide / mentor junior engineers
Previous experience working in a tight-knit development team
Great communication skills for customer liaison and technical discussion

Nice to have:

Knowledge / experience with low GHz RF design
Working experience with MATLAB
Previous experience working on instrumentation/sensor projects
Experience with any of the following automotive systems: engine, gearing, drive shafts, electric motors
