Avanti Recruitment are currently working alongside a supplier of software to the automotive and motorsport industries to recruit for a Customer Support Technician in Buckingham.

Our client manufactures and designs equipment that monitors and analyses data from cars on the move. It is a really niche product with a niche customer base, so they ensure all staff are fully equipped by placing them on a thorough induction program when you start to get you up to speed. This will last around 3 – 6 months and involve you getting to know the product in detail, learn their processes and the way in which the company operate.

The day to day duties will involve providing technical support to their customers via phone and email. Your job will be to identify the issue and then look at resolving them as quickly as possible. You will also be involved in product testing which will enable you to work hands on with the product as a customer would, which will enhance your ability to fault find and resolve issues. They even have access to private land locally where you will have opportunities to go out in their company vehicles and test the software for yourself!

The role is going to suit someone that is tech savvy, personable and enjoys providing support to users.

On offer is £22,000 – £30,000 DOE + bonus, Aviva pension, vitality healthcare, 25 days annual leave, options to buy shares. Their usual working hours are 8.45 – 17.30 Monday – Thursday and 8.45 – 16.30 on Fridays but can be flexible if needed.
