Avanti Recruitment have partnered with a high growth UAV scale-up to recruit a Senior level computer vision / deep learning specialist to join their R&D team.

You’ll be developing advanced software for UAV’s being deployed on search and rescue and environmental monitoring operations designed to help keep people safe at sea.

This role is an R&D-heavy C++ development role – many of their projects start on a blank sheet of paper so you’ll be involved in everything from prototyping and proof of concept right through to developing production level code, test and performance analysis.

Requirements:

A good degree from a good University in Computer Science, Physics, Maths, or similar

Excellent object oriented coding ability in C++,

Previous project experience working on autonomous, sensor-based systems,

Exposure to Linux development and Intel / ARM based platforms

If you have any experience with CMake, Git, continuous integration, test driven development, multithreading, TCP/IP or UDP, OpenCV or ML frameworks then we’d strongly encourage you to apply and your application would be prioritised.
